Adult Treatment Services
ADAPT – Adult Programs
ADAPT’s addiction counsellors provide ongoing support to clients who are struggling with their own substance use. Service at ADAPT begins with a comprehensive assessment to explore the effects of alcohol and/or drugs on all areas of the client’s life. This is used to determine the extent of any problems/issues and to identify strengths, challenges and goals. A personalized treatment plan is then developed based on the client’s unique situation.
Hope Place Centres
Services feature one-to-one counseling and transformative group work, with individualized treatment plans that focus on each individual’s unique needs and goals. Our holistic approach is grounded in the ‘12-Step’ philosophy, adding yoga, auricular acupuncture, art therapy and dance, along with many other fitness activities.
Opioid Outreach and Treatment Services
Opioid Outreach and Treatment Services bring together a team of dedicated clinicians from four different agencies (ADAPT, PAARC, Hope Place and Salvation Army) offering a wide range of services across Mississauga-Halton to those who are using opioids, and to their families/significant others. We also provide specialized services to women who are pregnant/parenting children 6 years or younger.
