Concurrent Disorders Programs

Many people who experience problems with substance misuse, and/or gambling also experience other mental health problems which can include depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia amongst others.

Halton Healthcare 

The Concurrent Disorders Program (Georgetown, Milton, Oakville) offers help to individuals who have a concurrent addiction and mental health issue.

Halton Homes Program

The Halton Homes Program provides affordable housing and supports for adults who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. (Concurrent disorder support provided by Halton ADAPT).

As part of the Halton Region Health Department, the NHMHC provides support to people living in North Halton (Acton, Georgetown, Milton) with mental health concerns including concurrent disorders.
